Using cyanotype—a camera-less photographic process introduced in 1842 that produces deep Prussian blue images through ultraviolet exposure—I extend my Textural series through works that incorporate images from my personal archive and brief invented phrases drawn from passing thoughts, overheard language, and the imagination. A historical photographic process intersects with contemporary text-based image-making. The series “The End” references the closing frames of films.
